Kené in the Shipibo language refers to the design system of the Shipibo-Konibo people. Kené art is the design of lines systems and geometric patterns made by indigenous women of the Shipibo-Conibo. They are the healing visions of the Shipibo-Konibo when they consume ayahuasca. The Kené are sung when the women go across the lines with the finger over the embroidery expressing the emotions that they reflect.
